Intact penises have very little or no hair on the shaft skin as at the ridge
bands being outer foreskin and most of the outer foreskin is virtually hair
free, those that do exist are very fine. As you look further down the shaft of
the penis the hair gets thicker and more frequent until you reach the scrotum
and pubic area where the hair has become fairly stout and wire like. The hair
at this point changes its shape to hairs that have an oval cross section which
gives most races curly pubic hair, some races seem to have straighter pubic
hair mainly from the far east. During intercourse the foreskin peels back with
the ridge bands behind the corona of the glans where it glides on the shaft,
this reduces the friction at the entrance of the vagina as the penis can travel
within the vagina (or any other orifice) to almost the entire length of the
penis without the shaft skin proper moving at the point of entry. (about 75% of
penile length assuming that the foreskin partly rolls over the glans during
intercourse, if the ridge bands are fairly tight and the frenulum is shorter
this will reduce this to perhaps 50% which in the average case would be a
movement of between 2 to 3 inches?). The shorter strokes will not therefore
cause hardly any friction at the 'entrance' area and overall combining the long
and short strokes there will be far less friction altogether. As the sexual
act with mutilated men involves mainly frictional intercourse for male
stimulation involving prolonged sex and deeper thrusting the partner can get
sore through drying up (even slightly) as MGM involves removing all or most of
what will give any gliding action. This also has the effect of pulling the
more hairy skin up the shaft to the glans. To take the analogy to the extreme
it is like having sex with a woolly glove, imagine how uncomfortable that would
be even if the glove was lubricated, but of course no penis would be that
hairy. If you look closely at a single hair you see that they lay flat to the
skin in one direction (forward towards the glans), this means that on the
forward stroke the hairs will tend to fold back causing a more abrasive effect
than on the backward stroke where they will lay flat and have a much lower
profile.
When we restore we are trying to expand the skin to get coverage and those that
have some inner mucosal tissue left try to expand this as a priority but we
still have to expand the shaft skin to maintain the coverage so we are in
effect pulling this more hairy shaft skin forward towards the glans. Even if
the hair issue was ignored the restoration will at least get some gliding
action back which will improve the comfort of both involved in sex be they gay
or straight.
As far as complaints from the woman is concerned we have to take 'comfort' and
'discomfort' in proportion and sensitive to the situation. To explain this ask
a man that has been mutilated as a baby if there is anything wrong with his sex
life because of his penis and he will tell you no. Ask him if he is less
sensitive than an intact man, he will say no. Ask him if women prefer an
intact or mutilated penis and they will probably say they prefer his mutilated
penis where in fact where women have tried multiple intact and mutilated the
majority prefer the intact. The fact is unless you can compare you cannot
know. Those of us that have restored are mostly very pleased with the
increased sensitivity and gentler sex as we CAN compare the before and after.
Now if we ask a woman what she feels during sex and what she finds the most
sensual, stimulating, sensitive and pleasurable areas she will possibly say "I
don't know" she will possibly tell you that it varies during sex and from one
day to the next. Certainly there is a wide variation between women, and when
it comes to discomfort that will depend on how 'wet' she is, how tight the
vagina is, how much the woman can apply pressure during sex and how long she
has as an emotional expectation for sexual duration as if the man has
penetrative sex for half an hour or more and the woman climaxed at ten minutes
then she will start to dry out (even slightly) after 15 minutes or so, by the
time 30 or 35 minutes has passed she may not feel so sexy and start to feel
something less than pleasure, she may not even know what it is that she feels
but discomfort may be part of it.
