Making the T-Tapes...

The photos which follow show how to construct the T-Tapes using the Backing Strips shown on Page 1. All you need is a number of backing strips, a 2" wide roll of 3M Micropore paper adhesive tape, a pair of scissors, and a flat surface.
Other types of tape can be used in place of Micropore, but I have found it gives excellent results. It is easy to work with, has good adhesive, and is very flexible (and thus comfortable). If you can't find it in your local pharmacy, try a pharmacy located within a hospital. I get mine at my HMO's pharmacy, at $1.50 per roll.
Now, on to actually making the T-Tapes. Because you use reusable backing strips (that is, you don't need to make a new one each time you make a T-Tape), making the T-Tapes is very fast. Once you get on to it, you can make each one in about 30 seconds or less. Here is how you do it. Grab one of your reusable backing strips, and follow the directions shown in the following photos.

Roll out 2" Micropore tape, sticky side up, and apply a backing strip along one edge.

Cut the tape about 1/8" past end of strip (this 1/8" overlap gives a grab spot to make backing strip removal easy later).

Roll out more tape. Hold sticky side of 1st tape up with your fingers while applying the backing strip onto 2nd tape.

Carefully let the two sticky faces of the Micropore tape together without wrinkles (may take practice). Smooth, and cut.

Done. Notice tape is 1/8" longer than backing at each end, which will aid in removing the backing later.
Notice that you did not cut a notch out of one end of the T-Tape like some other methods have you do. You will cut that notch later, after the tape is installed on your shaft. That gives you a perfect fit every time, no matter if you are fully or only partially erect while installing the tape.
